Most Disliked

While the majority of reviews are overwhelmingly positive, some patrons note that the initial communication can sometimes be a bit challenging. There are instances where language barriers arise, but usually, the staff's friendly disposition helps bridge the gap. A few visitors feel that during peak hours, waiting times can be a tad longer than expected, though this often indicates the popularity of the place. Additionally, those used to more extensive menus might find the offerings somewhat limited, but the focus on quality over quantity often outweighs this concern.

I'll admit we did struggle to understand each other to start with, and that was most likely my fault, but you gave me the best jumbo in batter and chips I've ever had, and that's in 54 years! Very generous with the chips we'll. Definitely go and get some more next time I'm near by.

Staying at near by caravan park and had to do some research to find a decent chippy. Sandy's was certainly one that stood out with reviews. We ordered the dressed fish, black pudding and sausage. Everything tasted absolutely beautiful and had an old school taste like I remember. Chips were also nice. I would recommend if you can drive 20 mins from the caravan park definitely order from here. Simple straight forward chippy menu.

1999, I was here on holiday for 10 days . Instead of going to a sit-down restaurant, I decided to have my first ever meal of fish and chips. Got back to the Kincraig Hotel and the aromas were great. Tasted a slice of potato and that was nice. Better than the American French Fries. The fish, still warm, had a good coating of batter that surrounds the fish. First bite, and the mouth was in a happy state of mind. Went back to Sandy's the next day after golf, to enjoy another takeout meal. Good to see the business is still there. Are the children the proprietors now?
